Write for us
We welcome pitches that make a weekend project feel possible, interesting and worth trying, whether the subject is a material, a method, a playful experiment or a small handmade keepsake.
What makes a good pitch
Send a concise proposal that names the subject, its reader, the central idea and what the reader could try or understand afterward. Tell us what is distinctive about your angle, what a beginner might find tricky, and where a method has limits. We value clear explanations over grand promises.
Good fit
Ideas should suit curious general readers and avoid relying on professional credentials, unsafe work, local rules or first-hand testing that has not taken place. Please do not send a finished article unless we have agreed to review one.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a short summary and any relevant writing samples or links in your message; no particular format is required.
