About

Fresh Weekend Guide is about making space for hands-on curiosity when the week loosens its grip. We cover projects, materials, methods and playful experiments for readers who would rather try something than wait to feel expert.

What we cover

Expect ideas for small creative projects, comparisons of materials and approaches, low-stakes experiments, and ways to keep the results. We favour subjects that can be explored without specialist credentials, costly equipment or a perfect workspace.

Who it is for

The publication is for beginners, returning makers and anyone who enjoys figuring things out. You can arrive with a clear plan or just a spare afternoon; neither guarantees a masterpiece, and that is part of the appeal.

How we approach it

We explain the choices behind a project, make room for what can go wrong, and avoid pretending every method suits every person. Our aim is to offer a useful starting point, not a promise of a flawless finish.
